Graduate Record Examination

Overview

The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is a standardized test required for admission to graduate programs worldwide, particularly in the US and Canada. Administered by ETS, the GRE measures verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing skills. Most MS, MBA, and PhD programs accept GRE scores.
Exam Pattern:
3 sections: Verbal Reasoning (2 sections, 27 min each), Quantitative Reasoning (2 sections, 27 min each), Analytical Writing (2 tasks, 30 min each). Score: Verbal 130-170, Quant 130-170, AW 0-6. Total test: ~2 hours.

Eligibility Criteria

No formal eligibility. Bachelor's degree (or nearing completion). Valid passport required. Can be taken up to 5 times per year with 21-day gap. No age restriction.
